Jr. Jazz Has Started Again

Last Saturday December 5, 2009 was Garrett's first game of the season. He is now 5'1" and 105 lbs. He towers over many of the boys his same age. The very first time he touched the ball, he shot it and made it. He was thrilled to make the very first two points of the game. By the end of the first half, the score was 30-0. We felt really bad for the other team. Garrett's defense was tight and he didn't really give the other team much of a chance. His team is mostly made up of the same boys from last year. They are all different shapes and sizes. They all have their own little gift to share with the team. Everyone was scoring and passing. For their first game the entire team played amazingly well and they had fun, which of course is the main reason for playing. The final score was 36 to 14. I was happy that the other team was able to come back a little. WAY TO GO "G"!!!
