Our Disney World Vacation

What a great time to go to Florida. We left on April 22nd (one day after Rees' birthday. The whole week seemed like and extended birthday for him. He did have to go to some CFA meetings, but was able to spend some quality time with us as well. The first night we got there, we just kept taking the boat back and forth on the lake while watching the fireworks from the Magic Kingdom. Garrett thought that this was the greatest thing next to the monorail that took us everywhere.

Before we left on the trip, we bought these awesome passes called "Magic My Way". We got the 5 day pass that included 4 theme parks and 2 water parks. Of course we added the hopper option so that we could hop from one park to the other each day. On day two we made it to the Magic Kingdom, which was actually within walking distance from our hotel. But we chose to ride the monorail, just because it was so much fun! We went early (8 am) for the extra magic hours. We got fast passes whenever we could to avoid the lines. This was a fun day, but by 1:00, we were ready to go to Typhoon Lagoon.

All day Friday was spent at Epcot. WHAT A HUGE PLACE!!! We walk and walked until we couldn't walk anymore! Rachel and Garrett got to meet Stitch, throw coins into the Trevi Fountain in Italy, and talk to Nemo's turtle friend . I think the best part, was sitting down in Japan for a yummy sushi lunch.

The next day I took the kids and went to Hollywood Studios. We did a lot, but didn't get into everything we wanted to, so we came back with Rees on Monday night and did the rest. The only thing we were sad about, was the Aerosmith rock and roll roller coaster. We got fast passes, went back to the ride at 8:30, rushed through the line, got up to the front and waited. After we waited for awhile, they told us that there were technical difficulties and we would not be able to ride it. We were sad, but glad that we weren't on the ride when it broke down.
